Our day begins with an 8 am pick-up, and we’ll embark on a scenic journey over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m/7414 f). Treating you to magnificent mountain vistas and charming Berber villages along the way. We’ll make a stop at the renowned Ait Benhaddou. A UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its appearance in numerous films. Afterward, we’ll continue through Ouarzazate and venture towards the
Valley of Roses, the Dades Valley, Skoura Oasis with its 17th-century kasbah, and the Dades Gorge. You’ll spend the night at a comfortable hotel.
Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll set off for the Todra Gorge, a magnificent fault rising 300 meters in a narrow valley adorned with lush palm groves and Berber villages. After a delightful lunch in the gorge, our journey continues to the majestic sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here, you’ll enjoy a camel ride lasting about an hour and a half, taking you to the Nomadic Berber tents where you’ll experience an enchanting evening of dinner, campfires, drumming, and an overnight stay in the desert.
Witnessing the sunrise in the desert, we’ll return to Merzouga on camelback after breakfast and freshen up with a shower at the hotel. Our expedition then takes us through the scenic Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains, including Tinjdad, Tenghir, and the Todra Gorges, before reaching Boumalene-du-Dades and finally Ouarzazate by evening.
Return to Marrakech In the morning, we bid farewell to Ouarzazate and head to the UNESCO-protected site of Ait Ben Haddou, an awe-inspiring kasbah and exceptionally preserved fortress renowned for its role in various movies, including the Gladiator. Leaving Ait Ben Haddou behind, we journey through the majestic Atlas Mountains, crossing the highest road pass in Morocco, Tizni Tichka, at an altitude of 2260m. The route offers breathtaking views of valleys, mountains, and nearby Berber villages. We will arrive in Marrakech in the evening, concluding our remarkable adventure.
